    Diving In

I wasn’t certain what I was diving into, but it didn’t take long to realize It was exactly where I needed to be. Inspiring, what did I need to say?

    Inspiring Read

These short stories are heart-warming and heart-wrenching at the same time. I was very moved by Kamini Chopra’s All That You Need is Within You. I found her writing style unique: no frills and straight from the heart. The prayer she wrote for all women was inspirational. I look forward to reading more from this author. All these women are true inspirations for their courage and their will to never give up.

A Meaningful Reading that Can Have Profound Therapeutic Effects

It is a very special book… It is not a product of imagination or fantasies, although there is definitely an extent of poetry with which the co-authors were presenting their life stories. What is truly unique about this book is the striking honesty with which co-authors were sharing their stories. Oftentimes, this honesty feels painful, yet, I found it to be another opportunity to revisit my own pains and apply the “healing treatment” of positive thinking on them. Beautiful book with beautiful characters behind!

An Inspiring Reminder of the Strength of One’s Own Voice

I purchased this book via Kindle this morning, as I could not wait for the hard copy, (which is also on its way). Needless to say, I could not stop reading. Each story I felt I could relate to on different levels, each story reminded me of a time that I could have spoken up, asked questions, demanded answers, but didn’t. As advised in the introduction, I put pen to paper with each new chapter, resulting in an awakening of memories of times past when my identity was blurred, and my needs buried. Truly a book that teaches women that it is never too late to find inner strength, act on desired needs, and lift up our inner voices! If there ever was a time, it’s certainly now

These are stories that will touch the hearts of every woman who reads them

This is an amazing book. I could hardly put it down. The stories are incredibly moving personal accounts written by “ordinary” women who have been courageous enough to explore their own souls and listen to their voices. This book really shows that the answer to overcoming challenges and adversity lies within oneself and not anywhere else.. The “magic” lives within each courageous woman who is brave enough to look for it and act. The themes of these accounts really resonated with me as a reader and a woman, and I recommend this book to any woman, young or old who is on her own personal journey of resilience and fulfillment. It was simply an honour to read this.

    Finding Your Voice

I recommend you take a journey with the women in this book and it may be the catalyst that awakens your inner self and helps you find your genuine voice… emancipating a stifled lost identify – silenced by early conditioning by the societal straight jacket of being a ‘good girl’ … ’seen but not heard’. A voice perhaps muzzled as an adaptive response to survive living within the inequality of a women’s world. Hopefully, as I did, you will relate to some of the women in this book. Experiencing their stories may help you connect your heart to your ‘outside’ voice and through a journey of self discovery, unshackle your inner aria – allowing your voice to harmonize with your intrinsic self… and be heard. These shared stories may spur you to unlock your screaming silence!

Real, raw and relatable. Highly recommend!!!

What an awesome, talented group of women. Their stories have shown me the healing power of speaking the truth and being able to share personal struggles. Society is quick to make us feel the need to be perfect, and hide our vulnerabilities. But as this book has shown, owning our stories and finding your voice can help others in similar positions, and most importantly inspire and heal. I particularly loved “All that You need is Within You,” by Kamini Chopra. She writes in a way that is truly empowering, and has made me reflect on my own life. Fantastic 10/10.

    A Powerful Read!

Every woman will resonate with some or many aspects of this compilation of 24 courageous women’s stories. Chapter by chapter, this book evokes powerful emotions and raw truths. The collective resonance of the challenges women face in childhood, marriage, the workplace, be it by playing roles, dressing the part, staying quiet when they want to scream is all unpacked in the pages of this book. Heidi Blair’s raw truth and vulnerability of losing herself evoked the lonely echoes of many women I have known. There is an unbearable tragedy, pain, near death, and ultimately triumph in every one of these short stories. I felt the full range of emotions, and many chapters left me wanting to know more. Definitely an evocative book club read, and a great gift for any woman in your life who may be struggling to find her voice and reclaim her life. I couldn’t put it down!
